Our Story

Socks that kept failing us.
Every runner in Singapore knows the feeling. At kilometre 18 >> Humidity at 85% >> Feet drenched >> Sock shifted. A hotspot forming at the toe and you know what's coming.
We tried socks from everywhere, sourcing from overseas, running and fitness exhibitions, and specialty stores. Some were decent. But none were built for 30°C mornings, year-round training, and the realities of being an athlete in Southeast Asia.
That frustration became a question. The question became an obsession.
The obsession became PRFM.
The answer didn't come quickly. It came through months of research, pulling apart existing products, studying performance fibres, understanding how heat, humidity and friction interact with the foot over long training sessions, races and rides.
We weren't looking to make a sock. We were looking to solve a problem. That distinction shaped every decision that followed.
Built. Tested. Refined.
Over a year of R&D, prototyping and real-world testing with 200 athletes across running, cycling and hybrid training. No shortcuts.
What we didn't expect was how universal the problem was. Every athlete we spoke to had felt it, the blisters, the drenched sock, the foot that wouldn't stay locked. We came in thinking we were solving our problem. We left knowing we were solving everyone's.
Some testers loved what we had built. That gave us confidence. Others handed us new problems we hadn't seen yet. That gave us clarity. Both groups made PRFM better.
Mesh zones repositioned. Cushioning tuned. Heel cup deepened. Grip yarn added. Every fix had an athlete's name behind it.

Why PRFM.
PRFM is pronounced "Perform".
We perform in R&D and refinement so every athlete who wears PRFM performs better on long run Sundays, race morning, or when the session gets hard.
This is just the beginning. The feedback loop is already running for upcomig drops. PRFM exists because we intend to keep building it better, every single drop.
Welcome to PRFM.
